Recurring Event (See all)
Saturday 23rd September
The OCC club ride starts promptly at 9am from outside Ubyk on the Abingdon Road, so please arrive in good time for a prompt start and bring clothing necessary for the likely conditions, enough fuel/water to sustain you (no cafe stops on OCC club rides!) and ensure your bike is road worthy!
We should escape any lingering overnight showers and as the skies should clear and the temperature rise as through the morning. Mark Howard will be taking charge of the ride tomorrow and has devised a route (see Garmin Connect link below) that will head into the heart of the Cotswolds, before turning for home and picking up a gentle tailwind. The route will be around the 65 mile/100km mark, so we should be back in Oxford for a post ride coffee at home on the Abingdon Road by 1pm.
If you are joining an OCC club run for the first time, then we ask that you have a look at our ‘How We Ride’ page, which lists our calls, signals and how we like to ride as a bunch.
Please also note that the wearing of a helmet is mandatory and we ask anyone joining us for the first time to leave their ICE details on arrival.
