We have a meandering Oxfordshire route this week that takes us out via the Thames valley before snaking northwards into the Cotswolds. Another beauty from the archives, perfect for a sunny spring ride! We’ll be leaving from outside Bike Zone at 9am, keeping the groups to a maximum of six, so if you are a non-member and wish to join us for a ride, then PLEASE contact us in advance so that we can be certain we can accommodate you.
We have two options on offer – a MEDIUM pace ride and a slightly longer route for the MEDIUM-FAST and FAST groups. Please ensure on arrival that you congregate with your allotted group. Ride leaders will be Andrew Saunders-Davies, Johnny Morrison and Andrew Webb respectively.
Even with Covid restrictions, our rides offer a great opportunity to learn a little more about OCC and, if you haven’t experienced it before, discover the benefits of cycling with a club!
Please note that we don’t stop at a cafe on our rides, preferring to rendezvous back in Oxford for some post-ride refreshment and chit-chat, so bring enough fuel and water to sustain you. The wearing of a helmet is mandatory and we ask anyone joining us for the first time to provide their ICE details and wear/bring clothing necessary for the likely conditions, plus inner tubes and please ensure your bike is road worthy!
